Everything there was very good and the staff were efficient and excellent. The room I booked was pet-friendly and well-maintained and provided with super kind bed, a terrace and the bedroom. It was in the central location to avoid the crowds that congregate close the lake.

The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were friendly, and we loved the spacious luxury double room we stayed in. Don't miss the delicious breakfast and excellent ale choices!
The only downside was the shower pressure, pretty disappointing and didn't really help after a long day out.

Great breakfast, also sensational dinner. Homemade beer, which was good, too. Restaurant very lovingly decorated and cosy. Behind the house there is a wonderful place to go for a walk. Very dog-friendly.
Room and bath could have been a little cleaner. Although we spent two nights there, the hair and stains in the bathroom remained the same as when we arrived.

The location lies near a quiet pub setting with a rustic charm. The bar area features big roaring fires.
A few notable details left something to be desired. The Classic Double Room had a noticeable smell of damp, and there was black mold lurking behind the curtain pelmet. Furniture across the hotel showed signs of wear, with chipped surfaces, and the bathroom felt particularly outdated with marked surfaces and mildew around the edges. Room rates appeared steep for the condition, given it's not exactly close to the heart of the Lakes. Parking incurred an extra charge, which reminded me of a bit of a surprise after shelling out for the room and meals. The evening meal's service had some hiccups, leading to a wait for orders that dampened the experience.

Friendly service, good food, nice big room. Beautiful park behind the hotel for walking or running, even with fitness equipment along the route! Tesla charge point on site is a big plus.
Unfortunately, the (small) lounge which was full, so we couldn't get together before we at the table went, that was a pity because it is very cozy there...

Location, way out and no mobile signal!
price on food and drinks is high, no bar area and what area around the bar was used for meal tables, two drinks at the bar = £8.00. normal for that area is £5.90 to £6.00 Room decor needs work for the price charged Car parking is a problem Real untidy at the rear around the car park
